Iran playing a destabilizing role in the Middle East and it
is a threat for global peace. It supports Hezbollah in Lebanon. It actively try
to interrupt Palestinian peace process. It send arms and intelligence to Houthi
rebels in Yemen. It backs criminal Assad in Syria, and support Shiites militias
in Iraq.
So how can we stop Iran doing all this things? Maybe
President Obama’s answer to this question is to reach a deal with Iran. This
idea justifies why Washington tried to solicit Tehran’s cooperation against
ISIS. But how the United State find morally reprehensible that it could ever,
ever sit down across the table with brutal regime in Iran who is responsible
for death of many Americans in Iraq and
begin to coordinate an effort towards a common objective, which is the defeat
of ISIS. There would not have been ISIS if the U.S. didn't break the promises
it made in Iraq. U.S. pulled out of Iraq and provided no help to democratic
movement in Iraq and broke its promise to support Sunnis forces. Mullahs filled
this gap by spreading Shiites militias all over Iraq who has been killing and
torturing Sunnis minorities.
Unfortunately U.S. administration is willing to make the
same mistake in ongoing nuclear accord with Iran. Iranian regime has concluded
that U.S. wants a deal more than they do. If the U.S. agrees to a bad deal with
Iran, it will not only change history of the Middle East in a terrible path,
but it will stir U.S. allies, in the Middle East to have same nuclear
technology that Iran will be permitted to have.
If Obama’s plan to
conciliate Iran is not a solution what is the real solution? If we follow news
inside Iran, it will led us to a real and practical clue. Let me give you an
example. On Thursday May 7, Farinaz Khosravani, 26, an employee of Tara Hotel
in Mahabad, western Iran, jumped to her death from the fourth floor of
the hotel she was working, after she was abused and intimidated by a member of
Iran’s infamous intelligence ministry who had made a deal with the hotel
manager to give the hotel a 5-star rating in exchange for sexually molesting
and raping this innocent young woman.
Immediately after Farinaz death, demonstration of the youth and angry people of
Mahabad in front of the hotel led to widespread clashes with the Iranian regime
suppressive forces in which 50 people were injured and at least 30 were
arrested, and 3 were killed. Angry demonstrators burned down the hotel, where a
young woman jumped to her death from the fourth floor of the hotel building.
Soon after a call has been placed on internet inviting the people of other
cities such as Sanandaj, western Iran, to take part in a demonstration and
strike. Women in city of Esfahan joined this country wide demonstration to show
their objection and anger toward Mullahs regime.
You can see who a death
of an honorable woman ignited a wide spread demonstration and clashes with
Iranian regime suppressive forces. This gives us the clue on how the world can
get rid of Iranian global peace threat. Iranian regime is sitting on a barrel
of gunpowder. This barrel just need an
ignition. This is in Iranian hands and they are capable to do so. The world
just needs to stop feeding Mullahs and support Iranian democratic movement. In
2009, president Obama sit idle during Iranian uprising. Iranian asked Obama
‘are you with us or with them?’ This should never happen again. By supporting
Iranian democratic opposition, the world can be relief of spreading
fundamentalism. This is the cheapest price for both the West and Arab states.
As Maryam Rajavi, president-elect of NCRI stated Iranian resistance doesn’t
need arm or financial support from the West. Support regime change in Iran. This
regime is not part of international community.
